The Rhodesian Ridgeback Welfare Trust is a registered charity dedicated to the welfare of the Rhodesian Ridgeback, our only source of income is from donations given by you, our supporters. We are entirely reliant on your donations to meet the costs of kenneling, veterinary fees and the medical support we give to those who take on older dogs, or dogs in need of ongoing veterinary treatment. We also need to build up a substantial reserve against the uncertainties of the future.

The 100 Club is run to raise funds for the RRWT and give members a monthly chance of winning a prize. A donation of £12 covers membership of the 100 Club for a year, with a set of four numbers eligible for each monthly draw. 50% of each donation will go to prize money and the remainder will go into Rhodesian Ridgeback Welfare Trust funds.
On the last day of each month, 3 numbers are randomly selected by computer and prizes go to those members with the matching numbers. For example with a membership of say 100, the monthly prizes would be: 1st £25, 2nd £15, 3rd £10. The actual prizes vary with the number of members and the first prize has exceeded £50. Naturally, as the membership increases, so does the prize fund and the money raised for the Trust. If you would like to join the 100 Club, please complete the membership form and send it to the address shown, together with your cheque. You may, of course, buy more than one set of numbers to increase your chances of winning.
You can help raise money for the Trust by using one of our Nectar cards. Nectar points are widely available from over 500 retailers including: AA, Debenhams, BP, Brewers Fayre, Child Trust Fund, Dollond & Aitchison, EDF Energy, Ford, Gala Bingo, Hertz, Sainsbury’s, Talk Talk, Thomson Local and TNS. If you buy your gas or electricity from British Gas, register your Nectar card with them and earn points while you keep warm, cook and watch TV!
The points you earn are automatically credited to the RRWT, for us to spend on exciting raffle prizes, food and other necessities for our events. If you would like to have one or more of our Nectar cards, please get in touch with our Trustee Rich Watts (email Richard ).
